# SkyKettle

> SkyKettle is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 175 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated September 3, 2026.

SkyKettle is an integration that controls Redmond SkyKettle smart kettles from Home Assistant over Bluetooth. It adds a water heater entity for setting the target temperature and choosing a mode: heat and hold, standard boil, or boil followed by hold. The kettle can also act as an RGB night light, with a light entity for color and brightness. Further entities cover boil time, sound, boil light and idle light settings, plus a sensor showing how long the water has been in the kettle. It runs locally and is added through the UI by picking the kettle's MAC address. An optional persistent connection speeds up communication but blocks the manufacturer's app while it is active, and the polling interval is adjustable.
