# MetService New Zealand Weather

> MetService New Zealand Weather is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 437 installs sharing analytics, needs the vendor's cloud and was last updated October 23, 2026.

MetService New Zealand Weather is an integration that brings MetService weather data for New Zealand into Home Assistant. It provides a weather entity with daily and hourly forecasts, plus sensors for current conditions. The readings include temperature, air pressure and trend, humidity, wind speed, gusts and direction, UV index, and pollen levels and type. It also offers clothes drying times, which the author created it for, and optional tide information for a chosen point near the user. Location can be set either from a mobile GPS position, which needs an API key, or by choosing a public city. Data comes from the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI.
