# Beem Energy

Beem Energy is an integration that connects Beem Energy equipment to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It tracks solar production, battery state and grid power, with power readings in watts updated over MQTT. Energy entities in kilowatt-hours are provided for use with the Home Assistant Energy dashboard. Battery control is added through number entities for minimum charge level and charge limit, and selects for battery mode and maximum charge power. Two switches allow charging from the grid and block battery discharge. History services export past data from the Beem API and import it to fill Home Assistant statistics, and setup is done in the UI with Beem account credentials.
