# INGV Earthquakes

INGV Earthquakes is an integration that shows seismic events from the INGV QuakeML feed in Home Assistant. It retrieves incidents from the feed and filters them by distance to Home Assistant's location. Entities are created, updated and removed automatically with each feed update, and each one carries latitude and longitude so it appears on the default map or a map card. The state of each entity is the distance in kilometers, and a sensor reports how many entities are managed along with attributes on data freshness. Options cover minimum magnitude, radius, update interval and the start time delta in hours, while the feed is refreshed every 5 minutes and covers the last 24 hours by default. It relies on the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI by choosing a location.
