## Supports

- **Works locally**: Talks to your devices on your own network. No vendor cloud in between.
- **Found by itself**: Home Assistant spots it on the network and offers to add it.
- **Device triggers**: Its devices can start automations directly.
- **From the Marketplace**: Installed through the Marketplace, formerly HACS.
- **Actively maintained**: Its author released or pushed a change in the last six months.

## Setting it up

Install it from the Marketplace and restart Home Assistant, then add it under Settings, Devices and services.

### Wiser Heat Hub Setup

- **IP Address or Hostname**
- **Port number**
- **Secret Key**

Also asked when confirming the device.

### After setup

- **Legacy naming**: Include room names in Wiser device names. If enabled, using Home Assistant to regenerate entity IDs with the default format in Settings → System → Entity ID format (Home Assistant 2026.8 and later) will duplicate area names when the area and Wiser room names match. Changing this option does not rename existing entity IDs.
