# Advanced History

> Advanced History is a Marketplace integration for Home Assistant. It has 206 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 24, 2026.

Advanced History is a Home Assistant integration that adds a configurable History panel to the sidebar. It keeps the familiar History workflow of picking areas, devices or entities with the native target picker, and draws the graphs with Statistics Graph Chart Card, which must be installed separately. Targets can be plotted on separate Y1 and Y2 scales, shown as numeric history or state timelines, and compared across periods using Energy-style date controls. Panels work independently and can be renamed and rearranged, charts can be saved as bookmarks, and Undo and Redo are available for changes. Optionally, it replaces the native History graph in entity More Info dialogs and opens the Show more link in the new panel, with separate defaults for each. Settings cover the sidebar icon, graph height, automatic detail, and who can see the panel, and setup is done in the UI.
