It has 216 installs sharing analytics, works locally and was last updated October 23, 2026. Periodic Min/Max adds helper sensors that record the minimum or maximum of another sensor until reset. Each helper tracks one input entity and can be set to follow either the lowest or the highest value. The recorded value is kept through Home Assistant restarts and returns to the current input value when the reset action runs. A last modified attribute in UTC shows when the min or max actually changed, and it does not update on restarts, so it can serve as an automation trigger or in a template. An option controls whether that attribute also updates when the input value equals the current min or max. It works locally, is set up in the UI, and needs the Marketplace.
