# Teltonika

> Teltonika is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 395 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Teltonika is a built-in Home Assistant integration that reads cellular status from Teltonika devices over the local network. It adds sensors for the mobile band, connection type, operator and signal quality readings such as RSRP, RSRQ, RSSI and SINR. Home Assistant can discover a device on the network and offer to add it. Setup happens in the UI with the device hostname or IP address, a username and a password. An option controls whether the SSL certificate is verified over HTTPS, and it usually needs to be turned off because most of these devices use self-signed certificates.
