# Tedee

> Tedee is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.1k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Tedee is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to Tedee smart locks through a bridge on the local network. It adds lock entities, plus binary sensors for pullspring enabled, semi locked and lock uncalibrated states. A sensor reports the pullspring duration. Setup happens in the UI and asks for the bridge IP address and a local access token taken from the bridge's local API settings in the Tedee app. New locks appear without setting the integration up again, and locks that are gone are removed on their own. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
