# Steam

> Steam is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 3.1k installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

Steam is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects Steam accounts through the Steam cloud service. It adds sensors for when the account was last online, the account level, and the game currently being played. It also provides image entities for game artwork such as the app icon, avatar, header capsule, library hero and logo, and page background. Setup happens in the UI and asks for a Steam Web API key and the SteamID64 of the account. Because it is built into Home Assistant, no separate installation is needed.

## Supports
