# RFXCOM RFXtrx

> RFXCOM RFXtrx is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 3.4k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

RFXCOM RFXtrx is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to RFXCOM radio transceivers. It works locally and is set up in the UI, with a connection by network address or USB device path. Devices appear as binary sensors, covers, events, lights, sensors, sirens and switches. Sensor readings include chill, forecast, humidity status, instantaneous power, current per channel and sound. Options cover automatic adding of devices, debugging, protocol selection, off delay, data bits for on and off commands, and a Venetian blind mode. An action sends a raw event over radio, and devices can start automations through device triggers. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to bug reports.
