# Remember The Milk

> Remember The Milk is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 25 installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

Remember The Milk is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Remember The Milk account. It exposes the account's tasks as to-do lists and relies on the vendor's cloud service. Two actions are added: one creates a task in the account or updates an existing one, and another marks a previously created task as complete. To update a task later, an ID has to be set when the task is created, and updating does not support the smart syntax. Setup happens in the UI and asks for the API key and shared secret of a Remember The Milk API application.

## Actions

- **Complete task**: Completes a task that was previously created.
  Fields: ID
- **Create task**: Creates a new task in your Remember The Milk account or updates an existing one. If you want to update a task later on, you have to set an "ID" when creating the task. Note: Updating a task does not support the smart syntax.
