# Seerr

> Seerr is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.6k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Seerr is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Seerr media request instance. It talks to the instance locally and is set up in the UI with the instance URL and its API key. Sensors report request totals and states such as pending, processing, declined, movie and TV requests, along with issue counts for open, closed, audio and subtitle problems. An event entity records the last media event. Actions can search for media, list existing requests and create a new media request in Seerr. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
