# Ohme

> Ohme is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.3k installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

Ohme is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to an Ohme account through the vendor's cloud. It adds a button to approve a charge, numbers for target percentage, preconditioning duration and state of charge input, and selects for charge mode and vehicle. Sensors report CT current, charge slots, status and vehicle battery, and a time entity holds the target time. Switches cover locking buttons, a price cap, requiring approval, sleeping when inactive and solar boost. Two actions list the charge slots and set a price cap that prevents charging when the electricity price exceeds a threshold. Setup happens in the UI with the account email and password, and connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration.
