# NINA

> NINA is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 6.6k installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

NINA is a built-in Home Assistant integration that delivers civil warnings for chosen cities or counties. It adds binary sensors and sensors for the warnings, and it relies on the vendor's cloud to fetch them. Several selection lists split the cities and counties alphabetically, so any number of places can be chosen during setup in the UI. The maximum number of warnings per city or county can be set, and warnings can be narrowed with a whitelist pattern for affected areas or a blocklist pattern for headlines. An action retrieves the details of a single warning, and new devices appear without repeating setup.

- **Maximum warnings**: Maximum warnings per city/county
- **Affected area filter**: Whitelist regex to filter warnings based on affected areas
- **Headline blocklist**: Blacklist regex to filter warning based on headlines
