# Monzo

> Monzo is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 91 installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

Monzo is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to Monzo bank accounts through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors for account balance, total balance and the amount spent today, plus an event entity for transactions. Two actions move money between a Monzo account and a pot: one deposits into a pot and the other withdraws from it. Sign-in goes through the vendor's own page using application credentials, and setup is done in the UI. New devices appear without repeating setup, devices that are gone are removed automatically, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
