It has 3.3k installs sharing analytics and works locally. Mealie is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Mealie recipe manager instance over the local network. It adds calendars for meal types such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, drink, side and snack, along with sensors for categories, recipes, tags, tools and users. To-do lists are also provided, which cover shopping lists. Actions let automations get, set, update and delete meal plans, set a random meal plan for a date, search for and fetch recipes, read shopping list items, and import a recipe from a URL. Setup happens in the UI with the API token from a Mealie user profile and the instance URL, and certificate verification can be turned off for self-signed certificates.
