# madVR Envy

> madVR Envy is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 39 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

madVR Envy is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a madVR Envy video processor over the local network. It adds binary sensors for power state, signal state, and whether incoming and outgoing signals carry HDR. Sensors report details of the incoming signal, such as aspect ratio, bit depth, black levels, color space, colorimetry, frame rate, resolution, and signal type. Aspect information is also available in several forms, including name, decimal value, integer value, and resolution. A remote entity is provided as well. Setup happens in the UI and asks for the device hostname or IP address and a port, which normally stays at its default.
