# LibreNMS

> LibreNMS is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 31 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

LibreNMS is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to a LibreNMS network monitoring instance. It talks to the instance locally and is set up in the UI with an API key, the instance URL, and a choice of whether to verify the SSL certificate. It adds a binary sensor for status and sensors for the database version, total device count, NetSNMP version, PHP version, Python version, and RRDTool version. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
