# LED Infrared

> LED Infrared is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 113 installs sharing analytics.

LED Infrared is a built-in integration that controls infrared LED light bulbs, lamps and controllers through an infrared emitter. It adds light entities along with buttons that send remote commands such as brightness up and down, individual red, green and blue adjustments, quick, slow and timer options. An event entity reports a received command when an infrared receiver is chosen, so signals from the original remote can be picked up. Setup happens in the UI, where the device type of the remote, the emitter and the receiver are selected. The emitter and receiver can be changed later without removing the device, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
