# LaMetric

> LaMetric is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.1k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

LaMetric is a built-in integration that connects LaMetric TIME devices to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds buttons to switch to the next or previous app and to dismiss notifications, plus number controls for brightness and volume. A select entity sets the brightness mode, a sensor reports Wi-Fi signal, and a switch controls Bluetooth. A notifier sends messages to the device, and two actions display a message with an optional icon or a chart. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network, and setup happens in the UI with either the device's host and API key or application credentials.
