# Keba Charging Station

> Keba Charging Station is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 445 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Keba Charging Station is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Keba charging station locally. It provides binary sensors, locks, notifiers and sensors for the station. Actions can authorize or deauthorize a charging process using the RFID tag defined in the configuration file. Other actions enable or disable charging, set the maximum charging current, and set an energy target after which charging stops. A failsafe mode can be set, and new data can be requested from the station on demand. Setup is done in the configuration file.

## Setting it up

It is set up in configuration.yaml, not in the UI.

## Actions

- **Authorize**: Authorizes a charging process with the predefined RFID tag of the configuration file.
- **Deauthorize**: Deauthorizes the running charging process with the predefined RFID tag of the configuration file.
- **Disable**: Stops the charging process if charging station is authorized.
- **Enable**: Starts a charging process if charging station is authorized.
- **Request data**: Requests new data from the charging station.
- **Set current**: Sets the maximum current for charging processes.

- **Set energy**: Sets the energy target after which the charging process stops.

- **Set failsafe**: Sets the failsafe mode of the charging station. If all parameters are 0, the failsafe mode will be disabled.
