# Hunter Hydrawise

Hunter Hydrawise is a built-in integration that connects Hydrawise irrigation controllers to Home Assistant. It talks to the vendor's cloud, so an internet connection is required, and it is set up in the UI with a username and password or an API key generated in the Hydrawise app. It adds binary sensors for rain detection and active watering, and sensors for daily watering time, daily water use, the next cycle and remaining watering time. Switches turn automatic watering and manual watering on or off, and valves are also provided. Actions can start a watering cycle in a chosen zone, suspend automatic watering until a given date and time, or resume the automatic schedule.
