# Hunter Douglas PowerView

> Hunter Douglas PowerView is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.5k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Hunter Douglas PowerView is a built-in integration that controls PowerView shades through the PowerView Hub over the local network. It adds cover entities for shade positions such as bottom, top, front, rear and combined, along with buttons for calibrating a shade and triggering favorite positions. It also provides scenes, numbers, a select for the power source, and a sensor for signal strength. Home Assistant can discover the hub on the network and offer to add it. Setup happens in the UI by entering the hub's IP address, and the hub generation is detected automatically but can be forced to a specific version. A diagnostics download is available for attaching to bug reports.
