# Elexa Guardian

> Elexa Guardian is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 24 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Elexa Guardian is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to Guardian water valve controllers over the local network. It adds a valve entity and a switch for the valve controller, plus a switch for the onboard access point. Binary sensors report leak detection and recent movement, and sensors cover current, instantaneous current, travel count and uptime. A button resets the valve diagnostics. Actions can pair a new sensor to the valve controller, unpair one, or upgrade the device firmware. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network, and setup is done in the UI with an IP address and port.
