# Foscam

> Foscam is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 2.1k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Foscam is a built-in integration that connects Foscam cameras to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds each camera as a camera entity, with a choice between the main stream and another stream type for video. Number entities cover device volume and speak volume. Switches cover detection for cars, humans and pets, along with flip, mirror, HDR, WDR, infrared mode, siren alarm, sleep mode, light and volume mute. Two actions move the camera, one toward a given direction and one to a saved preset position. Setup is done in the UI with the camera's host, port, RTSP port, username and password.
