# EZVIZ

> EZVIZ is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 8.3k installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

EZVIZ is a built-in integration that connects EZVIZ cameras to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It provides camera entities along with an image of the last motion event, a light, a siren, and pan, tilt and zoom buttons for moving the camera. Switches cover settings such as privacy mode, sleep, audio, infrared light, motion tracking and tamper alarm, while a number entity sets detection sensitivity. Sensors report details such as last alarm time and type, PIR status, and local and WAN IP addresses. Two actions are included, one to change motion detection sensitivity and one to wake a camera from sleep, which helps with battery cameras. Setup is done in the UI with an account username and password, with the option to use a custom URL, and options cover FFmpeg arguments and request timeout.
