# Elgato Light

> Elgato Light is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 3.8k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Elgato Light is a built-in integration that controls Elgato lights from Home Assistant over the local network. It adds a light entity along with buttons, numbers, selects, sensors, switches and update entities. Settings for power-on brightness, power-on color temperature and power-on behavior can be changed from Home Assistant. Switches cover studio mode and energy saving, while sensors report charging power, current and voltage, battery voltage, and Wi-Fi signal strength. An identify action blinks the light, which can serve as a visual notification. Home Assistant can find the device on the network by itself, and setup is done in the UI with the device host.
