# Duco

> Duco is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 134 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Duco is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Duco ventilation box over the local network. It adds fans, selects, numbers, switches, binary sensors and sensors for the ventilation system. Sensors cover exhaust, extract, outdoor and supply air temperature, remaining filter life, CO2 and humidity air quality indexes, target flow level and state end time. Binary sensors report the filter, sun control, ventilation and ventilation cooling, a select sets the ventilation state, and a switch triggers identify. Home Assistant can discover the box on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with the host address. New devices appear on their own, and devices that are gone are removed automatically.
