# DoorBird

> DoorBird is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 2.3k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

DoorBird is a built-in integration that connects DoorBird video doorbells to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds cameras for the live view, the last motion and the last ring, plus images for the last motion and last ring. Buttons are included for the infrared light and for resetting favorites. Event entities report doorbell activity, and the options let a list of custom event names be defined, which are then assigned to specific events in the DoorBird app. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with host, device name, username and password. Repair notices can appear under Settings, Repairs.
