# devolo Home Control

> devolo Home Control is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 45 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

devolo Home Control is a built-in Home Assistant integration for devolo smart home devices, running locally. It adds devolo devices to Home Assistant as binary sensors, climate devices, covers, lights, sensors, sirens and switches. Among the readings are an overload binary sensor and a brightness sensor. Home Assistant can find the central unit on the network and offer to add it, and setup happens in the UI with the email and password of the mydevolo account. Devices that are no longer present are removed automatically, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.

- **Email / devolo ID**: Email address you used to register the central unit at mydevolo.
