# Cambridge Audio

> Cambridge Audio is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 521 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Cambridge Audio is a built-in Home Assistant integration for controlling Cambridge Audio Streamer devices. It communicates with the device locally and adds a media player along with number, select and switch entities. The number controls cover room correction intensity and a volume limit, while the selects handle audio output, Control Bus mode and display brightness. Switches turn on or off the equalizer, the pre-amp, room correction and early updates. Home Assistant can discover the streamer on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with the device hostname or IP address. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
