# Besen

> Besen is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 20 installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Besen is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Besen charger over a local connection. It exposes the charger as a charging current number, a temperature unit selector, a charge switch and a set of sensors. The sensors report charging status, charging power, error state, internal and external temperature, and current and voltage readings per phase. Home Assistant discovers the charger on its own and offers to add it. Setup happens in the UI and asks for the 6-digit Bluetooth PIN configured on the charger. A diagnostics download is available for bug reports.
