# Big Ass Fans

> Big Ass Fans is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.1k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

Big Ass Fans is a built-in integration that controls Big Ass Fans ceiling fans and their lights over the local network. It adds fan, light, climate, sensor, switch, number and binary sensor entities to Home Assistant. A climate entity covers the Auto Comfort mode, and number settings adjust its minimum, maximum and heat assist speeds. Switches cover options such as Eco mode, motion sense, return to auto, beep, LED indicators, the legacy IR remote, Dim to Warm and Whoosh. Sensors report current and target RPM, the IP address and the Wi-Fi network name. Home Assistant can find the fan on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with an IP address.
