# Backblaze B2

> Backblaze B2 is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 579 installs sharing analytics and needs the vendor's cloud.

Backblaze B2 is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Backblaze B2 cloud storage bucket. It uses a key ID, an application key and the name of an existing bucket that the credentials can write to. An optional folder prefix sets the directory path where backup files are stored, and leaving it empty keeps them in the bucket root. Setup is done in the UI, and the connection settings can be changed later without removing the integration. Repair notices appear under Settings, Repairs when bucket access is restricted or the bucket cannot be found. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
