# APsystems

> APsystems is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 1.3k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

APsystems is a built-in Home Assistant integration that reads data from APsystems solar inverters over the local network. It adds sensors for total power, power of each input, production today and lifetime production, both in total and per input. Binary sensors report short circuit errors on the two DC inputs, off-grid status and output fault status. A number entity sets the maximum output, and a switch controls the inverter status. Setup is done in the UI with the inverter's IP address and a port, which defaults to 8050.

## Setting it up

It is added under Settings, Devices and services, with Add integration.
