# AdGuard Home

> AdGuard Home is a built-in integration for Home Assistant. It has 23.9k installs sharing analytics and works locally.

AdGuard Home is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to an AdGuard Home DNS filtering server. It communicates locally and is set up in the UI with the host, port, login details and SSL options. Sensors report DNS queries, blocked queries and their ratio, average processing speed, rules count, and the numbers of parental control, safe browsing and safe search events. Switches turn filtering, protection, parental control, query log, safe browsing and safe search on or off. Update entities are also provided for the server. Actions add, remove, enable, disable and refresh filter subscriptions by URL, so blocklists can be managed from automations.
