It has 88 GitHub stars and was last updated August 10, 2026. Apple Home Dashboard Strategy generates a Home Assistant dashboard modeled on the iOS Home app. It builds a My Home view with sections for favorites, status, rooms, groups, scenes and cameras, plus one page per area and a page for entities without an area. Entities are grouped into lights, climate, security, media and other, with tall cards for thermostats, locks, alarms and cameras and regular cards for the rest. Camera tiles show the latest snapshot and open a live view. Regular switches are left out by default, outlets always appear, and other switches can be added through customization. Changes such as favorites, section order and hidden sections are stored in each dashboard's own configuration, so several dashboards can have different layouts.
