Expander-card is a dashboard card that provides an expandable, collapsible container for Home Assistant. It adds a section that can be folded open or closed on a dashboard, which helps keep a view tidy. The card is an adaptation of an earlier expander card started by another author, with some improvements added by the current maintainer. It depends on the Marketplace for installation, or on HACS for Home Assistant versions 2026.10 and older. The maintainer maintains it in free time, gives no guarantee of long-term maintenance, and welcomes contributions and pull requests.
