It has 57 GitHub stars and was last updated March 15, 2025. Vertical Slider Cover Card is a dashboard card that controls covers with a HomeKit-style vertical position slider. It adds a slider for setting a cover's position, and it works best in panel mode, though normal mode also works. Covers must support the close, open and set position services to work with it. Options include hiding the sidebar so two or three covers fit on one card on mobile. A baseline setting lets covers that stop at a low position instead of fully open still count as open. A script can also be set to run together with the position change, for example to pause a door alarm. It is added through HACS or by hand as a dashboard resource, then configured as a manual card.
