# Chronicle Card

Chronicle Card is a dashboard card that shows events from several sources in one interactive timeline. It can pull from calendar entities, REST or WebSocket APIs, entity state history, the Home Assistant logbook, and events written in YAML, and multiple sources merge into a single timeline. The timeline can be vertical or shown as a horizontal ribbon of cards. Icons and colors are inferred from event titles, rapid events are clustered into expandable groups, and events can carry thumbnails and severity badges. Selecting an event opens a detail dialog, and tap and hold actions use Home Assistant's own action handler. The card is added through a visual editor in the dashboard editor and is installed through HACS or by copying the file manually.
