It has 193 GitHub stars and was last updated October 25, 2026. Yet Another Media Player is a dashboard card for controlling several media player entities from a single card. Players are chosen with chips, and volume can be set per player or for a group, with a quick grouping mode for joining or removing players. Gestures on the artwork such as tap, double-tap, hold or swipe can trigger actions, and custom actions can call any Home Assistant action or script. It supports Music Assistant for search and queue management, and shows synced lyrics. Layout options include collapsing when idle, artwork scaling modes, and a custom background image shown when nothing is playing. The visual editor has a search bar that filters settings, and templates can drive dynamic configuration; it installs through the Marketplace.
