# AlertTicker Card

> AlertTicker Card is a dashboard card for Home Assistant. It has 340 GitHub stars and was last updated November 2, 2026.

AlertTicker Card is a dashboard card that shows alerts and notifications on Home Assistant dashboards. Alerts can be triggered by entity state, attribute, template, device class, or an entity filter with wildcards and AND/OR logic. They appear in a cycling ticker on the card or in a global overlay banner visible from any view, and can also be sent as text-to-speech announcements, push notifications, and camera snapshots or live streams. Each alert can have its own theme, time window, user visibility, snooze, priority, and actions, and the card offers 53 visual themes plus a music player mode and a weather forecast widget. Text-to-speech is fired by the card in the browser, so it only works while a browser tab or the Companion app has Home Assistant open. A full visual editor covers the options without YAML, and the interface is available in 12 languages.
