It has 118 GitHub stars and was last updated October 10, 2026. Google Maps Card is a dashboard card that shows a Google Maps view inside Home Assistant. It includes a travel panel that calculates routes in real time, with address autocomplete, route shortcuts, and driving, walking, transit and cycling modes. Route lines are colored by live traffic, and a route info bar appears on the map. Weather layers can be added with an OpenWeather API key, with adjustable opacity, brightness, contrast and saturation. The card also supports FlightRadar24, with a flight panel and an airport arrivals and departures table, and lets flights be added or removed on the map. Zones can be created, edited and deleted from the card, and it offers point of interest filtering, Street View and route tracking with history dots.
