# Silicon Labs Flasher

Silicon Labs Flasher is an app that flashes firmware onto Silicon Labs based wireless modules. It targets modules reachable through a serial port, such as the one on Home Assistant Yellow, Home Assistant SkyConnect or ZBT-1, and other USB based wireless adapters. The app has access to USB, serial and GPIO devices and can talk to the Supervisor. It requires Home Assistant OS and runs on aarch64 and amd64 systems. It adds no page to the sidebar, and the target device is chosen in the app configuration before it is started.

## Setting it up

Install it under Settings, Apps, then start it.

## Permissions

- **Hardware access**: Can reach USB, serial or GPIO devices.
- **Supervisor API**: Can talk to the Supervisor, which manages apps and the system.

## Configuration

- **Device**: The serial port where the Silicon Labs radio is connected to.
- **Bootloader Baudrate**: The serial port baudrate used to communicate with the Silicon Labs radio in bootloader mode.
- **EZSP Baudrate**: The serial port baudrate used to communicate with the Silicon Labs radio in ezsp mode.
- **Hardware flow control**: Enable hardware flow control for serial port.
- **Firmware URL**: Flash Custom firmware downloaded from URL.
- **Verbose mode**: Start universal-silabs-flasher in verbose mode.
