# Glances

> Glances is an app for Home Assistant. It has 11.5k installs sharing analytics and was last updated October 27, 2026.

Glances is a Home Assistant app that runs a cross-platform system monitoring tool with a web interface. It opens as its own page in the Home Assistant sidebar and needs Home Assistant OS on aarch64 or amd64 hardware. The app can export system statistics to InfluxDB, so system behavior can be reviewed over time. Its options cover log verbosity, a process module for per-process detail, the refresh interval, and HTTPS for the web interface with a certificate and key file. The InfluxDB export has its own settings for host, port, export interval, SSL, and credentials, and it works with InfluxDB versions 1, 2 and 3. It uses the host network, can reach the Supervisor API, and has Docker access to other containers on the host.
